If you are a
Hotmail user then you have to be aware of all the facility it offers to its
users. If a mail on Hotmail is sent by mistake then you can cancel the sending
easily with the ‘undo send’ feature of Hotmail. To avail this feature, you have
to enable the service on your account.
You can either take expert help from
Hotmail Support or go through the steps below to enable the feature in your
account.
†
Login your Hotmail account and go to ‘Tools’.
†
In the drop menu, choose ‘Rules and Alerts’.
†
To define a new rule, click on ‘New rule’ and
then select ‘Check messages after sending’.
†
You will now be redirected to the ‘Select
Action’ page. Check the box saying ‘defer delivery by a number of minutes’.
†
Choose how many minutes do you want to decide
whether to discard the sending or not. You can specify up to 120 minutes.
†
Now, edit the rule description if you want and
click ‘Next’.
†
Now you have enabled the ‘undo sending’ feature.
Go to your outbox and delete any send message to verify the changes done. You
can also save the mail as draft to discard sending.
If you see a
trouble while enabling the feature in your account, you can ask for help from
the Hotmail Technical Support team.
The experienced professionals, at our team, will guide you and help you during every
step of the process. You can also take help against any technical issue, from
