RT @bradlander: The bullying behavior of Cuomo (and some of his team) is finally getting scrutiny for how it abuses women. And for how the state fatally failed nursing home patients & staff. Here's a new account from @enckj on how it put our environment at risk, too. https://t.co/gxCfZbCdSf

Unlike how Republicans doubled down in their support of Trump as more and more women came forward to say he sexually assaulted them, you will see more and more Democrats stand against Cuomo as women come forward against him. It needs to be a fundamental difference.

San Francisco District Attorney @chesaboudin was the first DA in the nation to end cash bail. He was the first to end 3 strikes sentencing. He even enacted a policy to stop charging cases stemming from racist police stops. He is a reform leader. https://t.co/S0upEEvpqs
The past year has exposed the United States. It simply was not capable of handling a pandemic. 500,000 people died as a result. It simply was not capable of handling an attack on its Capitol. And it cannot handle the snowstorm in Texas. Millions without power. Freezing.
RT @DavidShuster: Just confirmed @SenTedCruz and his family flew to Cancun tonight for a few days at a resort they've visited before. . @NYGovCuomo deliberately hid the fact that his gross mismanagement of the pandemic killed 15,000 people in nursing homes. His staff then said they deliberately hid the numbers to avoid prosecution. Then he helped pass a law preventing nursing homes from being held accountable
Before the pandemic, @NYGovCuomo was so unpopular in New York, his approval ratings so low, that it caused him to bow out of his dream of running for President. His pandemic response was primarily well-produced press conferences. And his house of cards is now tumbling down. https://t.co/ymx8adv6nm
RT @mj_lee: @MarkMorales51 Democratic NY Assemblyman Ron Kim told CNN that Gov. RT @thesajidakhan: Thank you @GeorgeGascon for your courage to withdraw from the California District Attorney’s Association (CDAA). The CDAA - led in part by Santa Clara County DA Jeff Rosen - misuses funds, fights criminal justice reform, drives mass incarceration, & perpetuates systemic racism. https://t.co/Wnlf0l1tYW
Police solve less than 6% of reported burglaries in the article below. Expensive police departments like SFPD do not make cities safer. They go to crime scenes, blame crime on criminal justice reform, and then fail to solve it. https://t.co/I5DgC1xeQ9
When a District Attorney like @chesaboudin has the courage prosecute compassionately rather than rely on a racist system of injustice, the media blames every crime under the sun on him. Interesting how that doesn't happen to tough on crime DA's with far worse crime statistics. https://t.co/5Pn5mmAPHj
I need your attention. There's a disinformation campaign going on against San Francisco DA @chesaboudin. The police show up to crime scenes, speak to victims, and blame crime on Boudin. Because they are against criminal justice reform of any kind. It's shameful. https://t.co/6QpkAQSEJj

RT @FSingh_NYC: Our city failed to take responsibility for the medallion crisis and the predatory lending they allowed on their watch. This betrayal had a profound impact on many immigrant families in NYC. https://t.co/F5XPNG3L3i @brianmrosenthal
RT @FSingh_NYC: I am the daughter of a taxi driver. Due to our inability to pay our taxi medallion loan, my father had to file for bankruptcy. This past Friday, the bankruptcy court put a “For Sale” sign on our house. There is already an offer on our home, and the trustees are ready to sell.
RT @miriamkrinsky: "L.A. County voters chose to continue on a path toward reform & away from the policies of the 1970s. Elections mean little if victors are denied the ability to shift direction." @latimes editorial on Ct decision limiting some of @GeorgeGascon's policies https://t.co/mvYbentIXC
RT @davidminpdx: What in God’s name was going on at the Philly DA’s Office in the 1990s? Man once charged with 6 MURDERS, on DEATH ROW for 25 YEARS now EXONERATED of ALL CHARGES after lying informants, prosecutorial misconduct, & hidden exculpatory evidence come to light. https://t.co/TseTEeb8ad
RT @RepKatiePorter: Roughly 1 in 4 fatal police encounters end the life of someone with mental illness, so it’s no surprise that this program is saving lives. Sending healthcare professionals—not police—when someone is experiencing a mental health crisis makes our communities safer for all. https://t.co/9FDbAxtGas
RT @ScottHech: The power of advocacy storytelling right here. A bridge between memoir, individual & aggregate harm. Tying history to present to future. Describing harrowing images as clear as photographs. It makes those who still protect Trump seem so small. American democracy worth protecting. https://t.co/QDImBpRIIY
RT @realStanVG: This should happen everywhere. If you think the anthem needs to be played before sporting events, then play it before every movie, concert, church service and the start of every work day at every business. What good reason is there to play the anthem before a game? https://t.co/HvnBtXhgGS
RT @UdiACLU: This is a BIG deal. The newly elected New Orleans DA has vowed never to use the habitual offender statute, which was widely abused by his predecessor, leading 2 extreme sentences. This is why the ACLU mobilized our supporters in this race. Elections matter https://t.co/yGiJbnerat
RT @GaryChambersJr: While folks moved on from Quawan Charles, @shaunking joined with us and helped get private investigators to help find out what happened to this child. That’s the work. That’s how we make impact for families. Another one arrested. https://t.co/Vzc0Y2Dlgd
RT @shomaristone: Minority jail officers were barred from guarding Derek Chauvin, suspect in death of George Floyd, lawsuit alleges. The lawsuit, filed in state district court, also claims Chauvin received special treatment from a white lieutenant: @minyvonneb, @NBCNews. https://t.co/RkgyCxsVNn

RT @bjwinnerdavis: Today is my daughter's 1348th day jailed. Her crime of releasing a single document with proof of Russian attacks on our election should not have cost her this much of her life. I am asking @POTUS to act on her petition for clemency & bring her home. #FreeRealityWinner https://t.co/h3xwtRvR9P
RT @TahanieNYC: At the core of the legacy of mass incarceration are communities that have been decimated through the loss of fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. As Manhattan DA, I will fight to renew trust with these communities and advocate for formerly incarcerated persons.

RT @GaryChambersJr: This weekend my brother @shaunking came to town and I got to show him how we get down in Louisiana. That’s my Daddy dancing at the end y’all, that’s where I get it from! We can win this thing it we #KeepPushing. #LetsGoHigher https://t.co/zX8jhuFAmL
RT @MorePerfectUS: Joe Biden says he isn't sure if he has authority to cancel student debt. So we asked a debt expert at Harvard Law School. He does. He could do it today—and bring immediate relief to 43+ million Americans. @ei_conn explains how. https://t.co/1umNQQU7Nu
RT @davidminpdx: Of all the prosecutorial misconduct stories I’ve read, this one may be the most outrageous. In Midland, TX, a prosecutor moonlighted as a judges’ clerk, drafting judicial orders in 100s of the very same cases he was prosecuting, including capital cases. https://t.co/xqcnVO9frB
RT @NicholsUprising: It wasn’t Marjorie Taylor Greene who called Democrats “the party of anti-Semitism, the party of infanticide, the party of socialism.” That was Liz Cheney. Don’t be fooled by Cheney’s spat with Trump. She’s a far-right zealot who amplifies lies and hatred. https://t.co/wWZjd1zVfH
RT @GregCasar: 🔴 LIVE: I’m joining @GrassrootsLawTX with @MeritLaw, @jasminefor100, & @JosePGarza to respond to Gov. Abbott's recent State of the State address and outline our progressive agenda for reforming the criminal legal system in Texas. https://t.co/lv21X2fuOv
RT @RealJusticePAC: Make no mistake: police associations and draconian prosecutors are behind this obstructionism. They’re standing in the way of the justice reform that LA needs and that the voters want. #EndPoliceAssociations. https://t.co/k88WgZASGx
RT @DaveBiscobing15: And check this statement from Phoenix Police. “...any such coin...” It exists. PD knows it exists. The Chief was shown it during a deposition. Officers testified that they owned, shared, and sold them. And the department and its lawyers have these records. https://t.co/e7cNcifRb9
RT @AttorneyCrump: Phoenix PD shot protestor Joshua Cobin in the groin, then CELEBRATED by creating commemorative coins! This isn't about "one bad apple." These problems are emblematic of a cultural crisis within police depts across America! https://t.co/KNN9SbmPqt

RT @TeamYouTube: @theProgSoapbox @YouTubeCreators @YouTube Following up on this: the team found that your YPP suspension was an over-enforcement of our policies – you should see that your channel has been reinstated into YPP. We’re so sorry for the frustration this caused. Thank you for bearing with us while we sorted it out.
RT @theappeal: If Xavier Becerra is confirmed to Biden’s Cabinet, California Gov. Gavin Newsom will appoint a new attorney general. Most Californians, including most Republicans, want the nominee to commit to refuse campaign contributions from law enforcement unions. https://t.co/k6OAMIue4I
RT @theappeal: Austin City Council has voted to buy a second hotel to provide permanent supportive housing for otherwise unhoused people. “This is funding that was previously going to over-policing every single year and will now go to getting folks off the street.” https://t.co/873HdgpLgb
RT @amyjharris: He also treated his nonprofit, The Bronx Parent Housing Network, as his personal empire: he lived lavishly, hired family members, entangled his for-profit businesses w/ his nonprofit and drove a Mercedes Benz leased by his homeless org
RT @NicholsUprising: It wasn’t Marjorie Taylor Greene who attacked Muslim US House members so brutally and so frequently that the Arab American Institute’s Jim Zogby described the assault as an “obsession.” It was Liz Cheney. Don’t normalize Cheney, or her hateful rhetoric. https://t.co/wWZjd1zVfH
RT @KhaledBeydoun: This #BlackHistoryMonth, remember that the FIRST Muslims in the United States were enslaved Africans in the Antebellum South. In fact, 15-25% of enslaved Africans were Muslims. Islam is deeply rooted in America. READ Antebellum Islam: https://t.co/eRgxWF1Zfx https://t.co/RKbQTyM9hZ
RT @JohnFetterman: I'm running for the U.S. Senate to fight for all of Pennsylvania. That's what I did as Mayor, it's what I’m doing as Lieutenant Governor, and what I'll do as your next U.S. Senator. Let’s do this. Join our campaign: https://t.co/6ZiSPrhnpS

RT @ScottHech: Last week, the New York Times published a glowing overview of the new Queens DA, Melinda Katz, & the “major culture shifts” she has led in her first year. Last night, her office was busy prosecuting Black people for marijuana. https://t.co/GQAoEnr0jr
RT @RashidaTlaib: 2019: No pandemic. 2020: Pandemic. Two rounds of checks without a peep about having to means test at a lower level. 2021: New president wants to give less checks than previous president based on 2019 (look up) income. 2022: 👀 https://t.co/VsWipCRPOu
RT @staceyabrams: We don’t know how many chances we will get to reverse our democracy’s near-death experience. We must not waste this one. We must go big — the future of democracy demands it. My op-ed in @washingtonpost: https://t.co/LbhJQ6WA7f
RT @CNNPolitics: Sen. Bernie Sanders says he hopes Pres. Biden is wrong about a minimum wage hike being unlikely to make it in the final coronavirus relief package: "You cannot make it in any state in this country on $9 or $10 an hour. We've got to raise that minimum wage to $15 an hour" #CNNSOTU https://t.co/7Cup5rofH1
RT @JosephNSanberg: Glad to see the Senate Budget Chair make the case for raising wages through reconciliation. Providing fair compensation to millions of low-wage workers after ≈12 years of inaction is a national emergency. If we’re serious about economic recovery, we need to raise the wage ASAP. https://t.co/JmnuRmbzxc
